Triabunna
Our beloved home town and the access point to Maria Island is a quaint historical fishing village and convict era garrison town, situated on the East coast only 1hr 15min from Hobart or 1hr from the Hobart International Airport.
Triabunna oozes with a relaxed charm and visitors love to engage with the open and friendly locals, sipping a coffee while watching the many fishing boats unload their prized catches or share a beer at the local historic pub and talk about life on the coast.
The accommodation in our region is a diverse range of hotels, motels, farm stays, modern bed & breakfasts and colonial era properties. The Colonial (pictured above) is an iconic 1870s property now restored as a bed & breakfast in the heart of Triabunna, just walking distance from our cruise departure point.
